At Friends of Fieldworkers, we believe appreciation should be felt not just said. Our Farm Visits Program brings that belief directly into the fields by delivering fresh, hot meals and essential care items to the hardworking people who plant, maintain, and harvest Ventura County’s crops.
Bringing Gratitude to the Fields
What We Do
With the support of local growers, we visit farms and serve free, hot lunches on-site to fieldworker crews. These visits are more than a meal; they’re moments of recognition, connection, and gratitude.
In addition to meals, we often provide essential items such as:
Sunscreen and hydration supplies
Red Cross kits and safety essentials
Seasonal care packages
Other resources designed to support wellbeing in the field
