Holiday Giving
Each holiday season, Friends of Fieldworkers brings together community members, sponsors, and volunteers to support farmworker families across Ventura County. What began as a small effort has grown into a meaningful annual tradition—last year alone, we supported more than 3,500 individuals, including children and families in need. Through our Holiday Giving Program, we help ensure that every family can experience the joy, dignity, and warmth of the season.
Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program
Our Adopt-A-Family program is at the heart of our holiday giving efforts. We partner with local school districts to identify families with at least one farmworker parent who may need extra support during the holidays.
Children from these families submit wishlists, which are then matched with generous community sponsors. Sponsors purchase new gifts based on these lists and deliver them, wrapped and ready, to Friends of Fieldworkers for distribution.
This personalized approach ensures that each child receives gifts they truly want and need, making the holiday season more meaningful for the entire family.

Adopt a Family – Sponsor a family by fulfilling children’s holiday wishlists
Amazon Wishlist – Purchase requested gifts directly through our curated online lists
Gift Card Fund – Contribute funds that allow families to purchase essential items
Become a Sponsor – Partner with us as a business or organization to expand our reach
In-Kind Donations – Donate new items or goods to support holiday distributions
Volunteer – Help organize, wrap, and distribute gifts throughout the season
Support Holiday Events – Assist with or contribute to the many holiday gatherings we host for families
