A local farmworker mother needs our help.
After a long day of work, Roselia was unloading her supplies when a tragic accident left her pinned between two vehicles. Many of you may have seen the video circulating online; it’s deeply distressing. What matters now is supporting her and her family through an incredibly difficult recovery.
She has worked in the fields since she was just 9 years old in Mexico, and continued that hard work here in the U.S. from the age of 12. This work has supported her family for years. Now, she faces a life-altering reality: both of her legs were amputated to save her life. She has already undergone multiple surgeries, with many more ahead.
She is a mother of two and the primary provider for her children. Her road to recovery will be long, physically and emotionally.
Friends of Fieldworkers is stepping in to support Roselia and has organized a meal train with help from local restaurants. If you are a restaurant willing to contribute meals, please reach out to get involved.
